the kickstarter campaign was the foundation stone for the then fledgling Conscript community. This new engaged audience forged the core of Conscript community.
66 Press Clippings
We obtained 66 press clippings on the Conscript Kickstarter. PCGamer, Bloody Disgusting, TheGamer, Jeuxvideo.com, and GameSparks were among the media who covered the Kickstarter campaign.
Trench warfare
With only 4 weeks to set up the Kickstarter strategy, Jordan and I were on a mission.
From the Kickstarter page to PR, trailer, marketing and communications, we worked closely together throughout the process. Like brothers-in-arms in the trenches.
A Kickstarter is a long and tense adventure, and we had to adapt to many challenges along the way. We turned certain weaknesses into opportunities. By fighting for every bit of ground, we were able to create lasting momentum and reconcile ourselves to a successful campaign. The additional victories were a strong new community, a content creator and a journalist hooked for further development of the game.
This Kickstarter campaign was, without a doubt, one of my favorite missions for many reasons, and also an important milestone in Conscript‘s journey.
